"I lost my father to the politics.." Rahul Gandhi On Congress Raily

Previous Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning went to a request meeting at the Rajiv Gandhi Commemoration in Sriperumbudur where the previous state head was killed in a self-destruction bomb impact while lobbying for the Lok Sabha surveys in 1991. The Lok Sabha part from Wayanad honored his dad and sat before the dedication for around 25 minutes. A few Congress pioneers including D K Shivakumar went with him.

Gandhi will continue to Kanyakumari and address a convention while formally launching the cross-country Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Senior Congress pioneer Jairam Ramesh said it is a day for "calm reflection and recharged resolve", calling it a defining moment in Indian governmental issues.

"September 7, 2022. A day when India's most established ideological group will send off the longest padayatra at any point embraced. It is a dismal day, a day for calm reflection and restored resolve. This is a defining moment in Indian legislative issues. It denotes a fresh start," Jairam Ramesh, party general secretary responsible for correspondences, tweeted.

Congress representative Pawav Khera stated, "Today the psyche is overpowered. I have the honor of being a little piece of a significant part of history. We should add India together."

As per an ANI report, Gandhi won't remain in any lodging and take cover in compartments introduced with dozing beds, latrines, and AC.

"Around 60 such compartments have been arranged and shipped off Kanyakumari where a town has been set up in which this large number of holders have been set. The compartment will be stopped in another spot consistently looking like a town for night rest. Full-time Yatris who stay with Rahul Gandhi will eat together and remain nearby," cited Congress sources as saying.

In front of the cross-country yatra, Priyanka Gandhi Vadhra, the Congress party's overall secretary, declared that individuals will be joined on issues like expansion, and joblessness among different issues of public significance.

"We are beginning a positive legislative issues. We need to hear from you, we need to take care of your concerns. We need to join our cherished country. We should join India together," Priyanka said in a Facebook video.
