Independence Day 2022: Here's the full rundown of 107 chivalry grants declared

Naik Devendra Pratap Singh has been granted the second most elevated peacetime chivalry grant Kirti Chakra on Sunday, a day prior to India’s 75th Independence Day. President Droupadi Murmu has supported 107 courage grants to military and CAPF staff. The honors incorporate three Kirti Chakra, 13 Shaurya Chakras, two bar to Sena Medals (heroism), 81 Sena Medals (bravery), one Nao Sena Medal (courage) and seven Vayu Sena Medals (chivalry).

Eight Shaurya Chakras have been granted to armed force faculty, including two after death. Sepoy Karn Veer Singh and Gunner Jasbir Singh have been granted the Shaurya Chakra post mortem.

Naik Devendra Pratap Singh was a piece of an activity in Pulwama on January 29 where he killed two bad-to-the-bone fear mongers in a gunfight, showing uncommon dauntlessness.

The president has additionally endorsed 40 notice in-despatches to the Indian Army, one to Indian Air Force (IAF) staff and one more to the military canine, ‘Axel’ (after death), for their critical commitments in various military tasks which incorporate Operation Rakshak, Operation Snow Leopard, Operation Rhino, Operation Orchid, Operation Falcon, Operation Hifazat and Operation Trikut (Deoghar).
