Row Over Onam Pookalam With 'Operation Sindoor' Inscription at Kerala Temple; 27 RSS Activists Booked

Thiruvananthapuram: A controversy has erupted over a 'Pookalam' (floral carpet) made on the occasion of Onam at a temple in Kerala. The Pookalam had "Operation Sindoor" inscribed on it, which is the name of a film. Following the incident, police have booked 27 RSS activists for allegedly trying to disrupt communal harmony. The creation of a Pookalam with such a message inside the temple led to resentment among locals, prompting police action.
